High temperature is a technological bottleneck to steel strip spring applications. It requires extremely high technique and spring design and process technology distinguished from general springs to keep its constant force under high temperature over long period of time. Therefore, Ming Tai Industrial develops the constant force spring keeping in constant force under high operational temperature over long period of time for the use of a fireplace manufacturer. The fireplace manufacturing company in North America inquired Ming Tai if there is special material available for making the constant force spring under 250℃ over long term. They would like to apply it on the resolution to the positioning and effort-saving resolution for the constant force spring installed on top and bottom sliding door of fireplace. With careful evaluation, Ming Tai has completed many tension and stress tests, and developed a special production process, that is using most common stainless steel AISI 301(DIN 1.4310) manufacture high-temperature resistible constant force spring to meet the customer’s requirements.
